Equipment Overview

For sale, a combined 26.4MW of diesel power generation consisting of six used CAT C280-16 (16 cylinder) 4.4 MW (4400 kW) diesel generators, seven (7) control modules, switchgear, exhaust system, radiators, transformer, spare parts, and six (6) Cain heat recovery systems.

This plant has low hours on it and was in operation for a natural resource operation up northern Canada, the generators hours are as follows:

• Unit #6 unused (2018)
• Units #2 to 5 (little hours)
• Unit #1 (17,000 hours)

Finning was part of this CAT’s 26.4 MW power plant’s recent decommissioning, each individual Caterpillar C280-16 diesel engine will be preserved, and inspection reports will be made available shortly. Load generation tests for these six (6) Caterpillar 4.4 MW C280-16 generator packages are available upon request.
