For sale, a combined 17.6MW 60Hz of diesel power generation consisting of four used CAT C280-16 (16 cylinder) 4.4 MW (4400 kW) diesel generators, four (4) control modules, switchgear, exhaust system, radiators, transformer, spare parts, and four (4) Cain heat recovery systems.
More details (drawings and more) on this decommissioned and disassembled surplus CAT C280-16 diesel power plant are available. The plant is currently disassembled and is stored in Leduc, Alberta.
This plant was in operation for a natural resource operation up northern Canada, the generators’ individual details are as follows:
